The other day my friend's contact lense broke in her eye.
She had a really hard time seeing (obviously) and it caused her dizziness.
She needed someone to drive her to the eye doctor and so I offered to take her.
I figured it would be a good opportunity to be a "friend" for once, since I don't feel I am a very good one.
I heard that still small voice in my heart saying "A friend loves at all times" after I had hung up the phone. I was wondering if taking her to the doctor was the right thing to do because I had just got home from work and I hadn't really spent any time with my husband in the past 2 days.
I felt that this was sort of an affirmation, not a total since I couldn't remember where on earth" A friend loves at all times" comes from.
My friend has this awesome quote on her mirror.
It says, " To live in the will of God, is to live without any regrets."
Now you are probably thinking what does this have to do with Jess's story.
Later that evening I was reading my devotional.
And the Bible verse was this Proverbs 17:17 " A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity."
I felt so loved by God, and I thought to myself, if I would have said no to my friend and later on read that scripture, I would have regretted not taking her.
I really feel blessed, and I hope and pray that you and I will take the time to reflect on God's word and listen to his voice, to live in his will and never have a single regret.

Yes! To live this way is where I want to be ALWAYS. I'm praying that God keeps us there.
